The Woke agenda is diametrically opposed to the founding values of the United States of America and, if implemented, will lead to the collapse of Western Enlightenment Civilization … which is exactly its intended purpose.
The foundational Enlightenment Values Include:
1. That the Individual is the Unit of Justice.
This value was codified in the Equal Protection Clause of the U.S. Constitution.
This value was made explicit in the assertion in the Declaration of Independence that “All men are
created equal”.
2. That Universal Truths Do Exist.
For example:
1. That all people have the inalienable rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
2. That gravity is an objective reality and acts on everyone whether they believe in it or not.
3. That Natural Selection has resulted in the evolution of two (and only two) sexes as the best solution to the problem of the survival of species.
3. Government’s Role is to protect, for every individual citizen, the right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.
The foundational Woke Values Include:
1. That the Identity Group is the Unit of Justice.
2. That all Truths are Social Constructs.
For example:
1. That 2 + 2 = 4 is not necessarily true for everyone. It is purely a social construct and 2 +2 =5 (or anything else!) can be equally true if someone or some group says so.
2. That a person can become an actual male or an actual female by simply identifying as that sex.
3. That Western Society is fundamentally divided into the Oppressors (Straight White People, Especially Straight White Males)) and the Oppressed (everybody else) and that the institutions of Western Society that maintain the status quo must be dismantled. Please note that the Oppressor/Oppressed dichotomy is an entirely Marxist supposition!
The above dramatic conflict between the traditional Enlightenment values and the Woke values is stark.
It’s almost as if the Woke values were intentionally selected to undermine Western values.
This is a very complicated subject that would require multiple books to discuss adequately, but it should be obvious from the above that Enlightenment values and Woke values are totally antithetical and that the agenda of the Woke is to undermine Western Civilization.
